According to RevSportz, on September 6, the players of Team India underwent a bronco test in Dubai. Earlier this test was to be held along with the Yo-Yo test in COE, but due to some reason it could not be done there. According to reports, many players including Team India's fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakraborty, Rinku Singh, Arshdeep Singh were seen giving the Bronco test at the ICC Academy in Dubai. However, who passed and who failed in this test? It is not known.

Earlier on September 5, Team India held its first practice session. According to reports, the Bronco test is not a part of the team selection process, but it is just a fitness assessment. Earlier also some players of Team India gave this test during the preparation camp in Beckenham before the Test series against England. The Indian team performed brilliantly in the Test series against England and tied the series 2-2.

What is Bronco Test?

According to reports, the Bronco test was suggested by strength and conditioning coach Adrian Lee Roux. Head coach Gautam Gambhir agreed to this. Its purpose is to further improve the fitness of the players. In this test, a player will have to start with a 20 meter shuttle race.

After this there will be 40 meter and 60 meter races. All these have been combined to form a set. A cricketer is expected to do five such sets (total 1200 meters) without stopping. During this, the players have to complete this test within 6 minutes.
