Thus, the 'bank balance' of the BCCI, which was Rs 6,059 crore in 2019, has now increased to Rs 20,686 crore in 2025. A report by 'Cricbuzz' said that even after paying all the dues to the state units, the general fund recorded a huge increase and the fund was Rs 3,906 crore in 2019, which has almost doubled to Rs 7,988 crore in 2024. These figures were shared with the state association.

According to the report, the accounts presented in the 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) said that the honorary secretary told the members that the BCCI's cash and bank deposits have increased from Rs 6,059 crore to Rs 20,686 crore since 2019.

It said that Rs 6,059 crore was when the state cricket associations were not paid, while Rs 20,686 crore is after paying the dues of the state cricket associations.

The Board's income from media rights from international matches increased to Rs 813.14 crore from Rs 2,524.80 crore last year, mainly due to fewer international home matches during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

Gross receipts from men's senior international tours and events declined to Rs 361.22 crore compared to Rs 642.78 crore last year. BCCI's investment income showed strong performance, with interest income on bank deposits reaching Rs 986.45 crore, up from Rs 533.05 crore last year.

The Board recorded a surplus of Rs 1,623.08 crore, up from Rs 1,167.99 crore last year, mainly due to IPL 2023 surplus and increased ICC distributions.
