The Indian women's team, which last played an ODI in Visakhapatnam in 2014, includes World Cup-bound players Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana and Sneh Rana. Apart from Visakhapatnam, Guwahati, Indore and Navi Mumbai's DY Patil Stadium are the other Indian cities to host the eight-team global event.
A few inter-team matches are also expected to be played under lights before the team leaves for a short break ahead of the home series against Australia starting in Mullanpur on September 14. The camp will mainly test the players' skills.
