The schedule of the International League T20 to be played in the United Arab Emirates has been revealed. This league will be played from 2 December 2025 to 4 January 2026. Indian cricket's veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin can also be seen in this league.

The schedule for the fourth season of the International League T20 (IL20) has been announced. This time the league is going to start with a thrilling match on 2 December 2025. The first match will be between defending champions Dubai Capitals and Desert Vipers, which will be a great rematch of the final of the last season. The match will start at 6:30 pm local time (8:00 pm Indian time) at the Dubai International Stadium. This league will be played till 4 January 2026. This schedule has been set a month earlier than the previous season, so as to avoid clashes with the T20 World Cup to be held in India and Sri Lanka in 2026.

ILT20 schedule announced

A total of 34 matches will be played in ILT20 2026, in which six teams Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Dubai Capitals, Gulf Giants, Desert Vipers, MI Emirates and Sharjah Warriors will clash for the title. All matches will be played at three stadiums Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Sharjah Cricket Stadium and Abu Dhabi's Zayed Cricket Stadium. There will be 30 matches in the league stage, followed by four playoff matches. The eliminator and final will be held in Dubai, while Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2 will be held in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

This time there will be a clash between the International League T20 (IL20) and South Africa's League SA20. Actually, SA20 will start from December 26. In such a situation, the availability of players in both the leagues is also a big question. Actually, many such players play in the International League T20, who also become a part of SA20. Recently, news came out that Ashwin has expressed his desire to play in the next season of the ILT20 League to be held in UAE and hence is considering getting his name registered in the auction. If this happens, he can be seen playing in the upcoming season. Ashwin is also in talks with Cricket Australia to participate in Australia's Big Bash League (BBL).
