Cricket South Africa has handed over the command of the team for the ICC Women's ODI World Cup 2025 to star batsman Laura Wolvaardt. At the same time, 17-year-old Kikarabo Meso has also managed to make a place in the team. Meso is going to be a part of the Senior World Cup for the first time. But former South African women's cricket team captain Dane van Niekerk has not been selected in this team. Dane van Niekerk recently withdrew her retirement.
