DPL 2025 Winner: The final match of the second season of Delhi Premier League i.e. DPL was played on Sunday 31st August at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. There was a title match between Central Delhi Kings and West Delhi Lions, in which West Delhi Lions, captained by Nitish Rana, won. West Delhi team defeated Central Delhi Kings by 6 wickets. Nitish Rana played a wonderful innings and single-handedly led the team to victory. Nitish's bat was very good in Eliminator, Qualifier 2 and Final.
Talking about the match, West Delhi Lions won the toss and chose to bowl. Central Delhi scored 173 runs on the basis of half-centuries from Yugal Saini and Pranshu Vijayran, who came as an impact player, but the target of 174 runs was achieved by West Delhi team on the last ball of the 18th over by losing 4 wickets. Nitish Rana scored 79 runs in 49 balls, while Hrithik Shaukeen scored 42 runs in 27 balls. The winning six came off his bat.

Mayank Gusain scored 15 runs in 11 balls. However, Nitish Rana held one end and played a match-winning innings again. He scored a century in the Eliminator, a match-winning 45 in Qualifier 2 and an innings of 79 runs in the final.

West Delhi Lions team captain Nitish Rana won the toss and chose to bowl.
