Rs 35 lakh spent on bananas?
According to the report of Times of India, those who filed a petition in Uttarakhand High Court have claimed that out of 12 crores, 35 lakh rupees have been spent only on buying bananas. Now the hearing of this case will be held on September 19, on which a reply has also been sought from BCCI. According to the audit report of Uttarakhand, the audit report has revealed that Rs 6.4 crore has been spent on event management and a total of Rs 26.3 crore was spent on tournament-trial expenses - which is more than Rs 22.3 crore in the previous financial year. Those who filed a petition in the High Court have accused the Uttarakhand Association of misappropriation of crores of rupees in the name of food and drink expenses.
