UP T20 fixing controversy: A sensational case of match fixing attempt has come to light in UP T20 League 2025 (Uttar Pradesh Premier League 2025). Kashi Rudras team manager Arjun Chauhan was offered Rs 1 crore through social media.

It is alleged that the fixer wanted a player of the team to play according to his strategy. Arjun Chauhan immediately rejected this offer and informed the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) about it.

How did the match fixer hatch the fixing conspiracy?

BCCI's investigation revealed that the suspicious user was constantly trying to talk to Arjun and was pressurizing him.

This contact was made on August 19 at 11:12 pm from Instagram ID vipss_nakrani. First there was talk of promotion, then an attempt was made to call and after this a direct proposal was made to fix the match. The user said that he would get Rs 1 crore, out of which Arjun could keep Rs 50 lakh with himself. There was also talk of transferring the amount online in US dollars.
