Team India is in danger from 'Indian coach'

Actually, Oman's coaching staff includes an Indian veteran, whose record is very strong. The name of this coach is Sulakshan Kulkarni. Sulakshan Kulkarni has a lot of coaching experience, who can prove to be a big threat to Team India in this tournament. Sulakshan Kulkarni was made the assistant coach of the Oman cricket team in July 2025. At the same time, the Maharashtra cricket team also made him the head coach for a two-year term starting from May 2024.

Sulakshan Kulkarni has also been the head coach of India's disabled cricket team. In 2019, he led the Indian team to a historic victory in the Disabled Cricket World Cup. Not only this, he has also made the Mumbai cricket team the champion of the Ranji Trophy. The Mumbai team won the Ranji Trophy in 2012-13 under the coaching of Sulakshan Kulkarni. Apart from this, he has also been the head coach of the Vidarbha cricket team for 2 seasons. In 2018, the Nepal cricket team also made him the batting coach for a month.

How will the Oman team face India?

Sulakshan Kulkarni has made a big statement on the India-Oman match. Talking to PTI, he said, 'I have been the captain of RCF Club (Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers) for 10 years. We were probably eighth in the Times Shield and we did not have any big player. Still we used to beat teams like Indian Oil, Air India, Tata, ACC which had star Indian players. I led a team that used to beat corporate teams that had top Indian players like Dilip Vengsarkar and Sanjay Manjrekar. So this is my point of view. Despite being one of the weakest teams, we won matches with full hope and positive attitude and I want Oman players to do the same against India and Pakistan.
