Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is preparing a special protocol. RCB is working with BCCI and KSCA for better crowd management protocols.
Giving detailed information about 'RCB Cares', Royal Challengers Bangalore said on Monday that the foundation is working with BCCI and Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) to prepare better crowd management protocols. 11 people were killed in a stampede during the celebration of RCB's first IPL title win this year.
RCB Cares, which has announced a compensation of Rs 25 lakh to the families of the deceased, said that it has been established to 'support, empower and progress our 12th member.' The foundation has described a six-point formula to achieve this goal, but it can be implemented only after getting approval from the government.
Its agenda includes providing support other than financial assistance. It has also expressed a desire to work with stadium officials, sports units and league partners for better crowd management protocols.
The franchise has also promised to set up a fan safety audit framework, as well as training its partners on the field. RCB Cares has also promised to provide employment opportunities for local talent within the stadium.
