Phil Salt broke Sanju Samson's record, see the list of players who scored the fastest century in T20I

In the second T20 match between England and South Africa, Fiss Salt scored a stormy century. Salt has surpassed Sanju Samson in the list of full member nation players who have scored the fastest century in T20 International cricket. He has become the fastest player to score a century for England in T20I.

David Miller

David Miller holds the record for scoring the fastest century in T20 International cricket as a full member nation player. South Africa's dashing batsman Miller completed his century in 35 balls against Bangladesh in October 2017. He scored an unbeaten 101 runs in 36 balls with the help of 7 fours and 9 sixes.

Rohit Sharma

India's legendary batsman Rohit Sharma missed out on breaking Miller's record in December 2017. He then scored a century in 35 balls in a T20 match against Sri Lanka. The 'Hitman' scored 118 runs in 43 balls with the help of 12 fours and 10 sixes at the Indore ground. Rohit has retired from Test and T20 international cricket.

Abhishek Sharma

India's Abhishek Sharma is jointly at the second position. He scored a century in 37 balls in a T20 match against England in February 2025. He played a fiery innings of 135 runs at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, in which he hit 7 fours and 13 sixes.

Australia's Tim David has also scored a century in 37 balls. He achieved this feat against West Indies in July 2025. David hit 6 fours and 11 sixes in his unbeaten innings of 102 runs.

Salt broke Samson's record

England's Phil Salt has come at the joint third position in the list of full member nation players who scored the fastest century in T20I. He scored a century in 39 balls in the second T20 match against South Africa in Manchester (September 12). West Indies' Johnson Charles has also scored a century in 39 balls against South Africa. He did this in March 2023. Salt played an unbeaten innings of 141 runs with the help of 15 fours and 8 sixes in 60 balls and England scored a huge score of 304/2. Salt broke Sanju Samson's record. India's wicketkeeper-batsman Samson scored a century in 40 balls against Bangladesh in October 2024. He scored 111 runs in 47 balls on the Hyderabad ground. 11 fours and 8 sixes came off his bat.
