ICC ODI World Cup 2011 will be remembered by all Indian fans for a long time. In the final match of this tournament, Team India won against Sri Lanka at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. They won the ODI World Cup after 28 years. In the final match of this World Cup, Team India easily achieved the target of 275 runs. Recently, former Indian player and God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar has said that it was because of CSK that India won the 2011 ODI World Cup.
Sachin Tendulkar made a big revelation
In the 2011 ODI World Cup, it was seen that legendary all-rounder Yuvraj Singh was batting at number 5 and after that Mahendra Singh was coming to bat at number 6. However, in the final of the ODI World Cup 2011 against Sri Lanka, Mahendra Singh Dhoni came to bat at number 5 over Yuvraj Singh and he played an unbeaten innings of 91 runs and played a key role in Team India's victory. Dhoni was the captain of Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League 2011.
Responding to a question on Reddit, Sachin Tendulkar said, "There were two reasons. On one side Gautam Gambhir was batting and a right-handed batsman was sent to bat with him for combination. The main reason for the right and left batting combination was that he could bat well against two off-spinners and also Muralitharan has played for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League from 2008 to 2010. Dhoni batted against him in the nets for 3 years."
Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the World Cup for Team India

In reply, Team India had a very bad start and at one time they lost three wickets for 114 runs. After this, Mahendra Singh Dhoni came to bat and made a partnership of 109 runs with Gautam Gambhir for the fourth wicket. Due to this partnership, Team India started putting pressure on Sri Lanka again and won the match easily. Gautam Gambhir contributed 97 runs while Virat Kohli scored 35 runs. This was the last World Cup of God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar.
