South Delhi Superstars qualified for the playoffs of the Delhi Premier League by defeating Old Delhi 6 by eight wickets in a rain-affected match on Wednesday. Due to rain, the match was reduced to seven overs each. Old Delhi 6 batted first and scored 133 runs for the loss of three wickets in seven overs, in response to which the South Delhi Superstars team won the match by scoring 136 runs for 2 wickets in 6.5 overs. Tejaswi Dahiya was selected as the Player of the Match. Old Delhi finished last in the points table.

In the rain-affected match, Old Delhi 6 batted first and scored a strong score of 133 runs thanks to Dev Lakra's unbeaten 85 and opener Yug Gupta's 38 runs. Aman Bharti took two wickets for South Delhi Superstars. In reply, South Delhi Superstars scored 136 runs for two wickets in 6.5 overs and won by eight wickets. Its opener Tejaswi Dahiya scored 69 runs and Anmol Sharma scored an unbeaten 56 runs and made a brilliant partnership of 122 runs in 5.5 overs.

Chasing the target of 134 runs, captain Tejaswi Dahiya played a brilliant innings of 69 runs in 21 balls for South Delhi Superstars. He hit 9 sixes and three fours in his innings. He along with Anmol added 122 runs for the first wicket in 5.5 overs. Opener Anmol Sharma remained unbeaten after scoring 56 runs in 17 balls. He hit eight fours and a six in his innings. Vision was dismissed after scoring 6 runs in 2 balls. Rajneesh and Gaurav took 1-1 wickets for Old Delhi.
