Pakistan started their campaign in Asia Cup 2025 with a spectacular win against Oman. Pakistan won this match by a huge margin of 93 runs. The Men in Green's next match is against arch-rival India. Before the Ind VS Pak match, Pakistan captain Salman Aga has threatened India. Even though Pakistan's batting unit has been exposed against Oman, the Pakistani captain says that if they manage to execute their plan, then they have the power to defeat any team.

Let us tell you, while batting first against Oman, Pakistan's team was able to put only 160 runs on the board in 20 overs. It is a blessing that Mohammad Harris's 66-run innings was enough, if he had also got out early, it would have been difficult for Pakistan to score even 120 runs. Apart from Harris, no Pakistani batsman could touch the 30-run mark even against a small team like Oman.

The Pakistani bowlers, however, performed brilliantly and restricted Oman to just 67 runs and won the match by 93 runs.

After the match, Pakistan captain Salman Agha said, "We still need to improve a bit with the bat. The bowling was excellent, I am happy with the bowling unit. We have three spinners and they are all different, even Ayub. We have 4-5 good options and you need them when playing in Dubai and Abu Dhabi." He further said, "We should have scored 180 runs from the start we got, but this is how cricket is. We are playing really good cricket, we won the tri-series and won here easily too. If we keep executing our plans for a long time, we can beat any team."
